A walk through the forest became a light.
EVERGREEN began with the vertical rhythm of Pacific Northwest forests: tall trunks, moss, ferns, open air, and water beyond the trees.

Origin
EVERGREEN was born from walks through the forests around Seattle. We kept returning to the same visual language: tall trunks, dense green layers, moss, ferns, water, and narrow openings of light.
The lamp carries that rhythm indoors. Its vertical ribs make a small architecture of trees, and no two of them stop at the same height — the top edge reads like a treeline against the sky.
After months of printed rib studies, material testing, and light experiments, that memory became a sculptural lamp that glows from within.

The same light, carried home.

From forest to form
Unrolled, the top edge is a treeline.
UNROLLED · Walk once around the lamp and read its top edge: eighty ribs, cut to nine heights, never in a tidy order.
Back where it began.
We took EVERGREEN back to the forest that shaped it: onto moss, between ferns, into the last light of the day. Off, it disappears among the trunks. On, it becomes the camp light you walk towards.

Every rib is part of the silhouette.
The surface carries the trace of its making, while the spacing between each rib controls how light escapes into the room.
From trail to table.
Developed over months through repeated printed rib, material, and lighting studies.

Real footage from our printer. Every EVERGREEN starts as a solid base ring, grows eighty ribs side by side, and finishes with the tallest ones, alone at the top.
- Base
- A solid ring at the bottom anchors every rib.
- Ribs
- Eighty ribs rise together, two walls thick.
- Treeline
- Ribs stop at nine different heights; the last sixteen finish alone.
Each Standard spends about 34 hours on the printer; each Large, more than 45. They are made a few at a time in Seattle.
Two objects in one.
Switched off, EVERGREEN is a green sculpture — a small stand of trees on the table. Switched on, the bulb appears behind the ribs and light slips out through every gap.

OffThe rib cage carries the room: colour, silhouette, and the stepped top edge.
OnThe internal bulb glows through the gaps; the green goes deeper around it.
After darkOn a pale surface, the ribs throw long radiating lines of shadow.
At home in the room.
Sized as a design object, not a centrepiece. EVERGREEN sits on a sideboard, nightstand, desk, or console without taking it over.

Room and forest scenes are styled visualisations.
Two sizes, one silhouette.
Drawn to the same scale. The Large is about 29% taller and 21% wider than the Standard.

NORE lamps are mood lamps, not a room’s main light. The translucent shade diffuses a soft, warm glow that fills a bedside table or a corner. For reading or work, pair it with a brighter lamp or an overhead light.
