NORE lamps are mood lamps, not a room’s main light. The translucent shade diffuses a soft, warm glow that fills a bedside table or a corner. For reading or work, pair it with a brighter lamp or an overhead light.

Both. Every NORE lamp is fully wired with a standard U.S. plug and ships with an E26 LED bulb. It’s designed to be used every day: the sculptural form and the quality of light are equally considered.

Up close you’ll see fine layer lines and subtle texture from 3D printing. They’re part of the process, not defects, and they make every lamp slightly unique. Colours can also look a little different from screen to screen.

Depending on the design, bio-based PLA, PETG, or both. PLA is made from plants such as corn starch and sugar cane; PETG is a tough, durable material that spreads light evenly. Each lamp’s page lists exactly which parts use which.

Yes. Every lamp ships with an E26 LED bulb. You can swap it for any E26 LED bulb up to 10W; for the warmest glow, choose one rated 2700K–3000K. Don’t use incandescent or halogen bulbs.

Not with the included setup: the cord has a simple on/off switch. To dim it, use a smart E26 LED bulb (up to 10W) and adjust the brightness in its app. It’s also a nice way to set the lamp on a schedule.

No. NORE lamps are LED-only and give off very little heat. Keep the lamp away from heaters and long hours of direct sunlight, which can soften or fade the material over time.

Wipe it with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Don’t use solvents, alcohol or abrasive cleaners, and never put the lamp in water.

Very little. Some lamps arrive ready to plug in; others arrive as a shade and a base that you set together and add the bulb to, which takes about a minute. Each lamp’s page shows which under “In the box”.

Yes. Every lamp is printed in our Seattle studio after you place your order. We don’t keep pre-made stock, so nothing is overproduced.

Orders usually ship within 1-3 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Production times are estimates, so a busy week can add a day or two. After it ships, delivery usually takes 3-7 business days, depending on where you are.

Standard ground shipping is free on every U.S. order, with no minimum.

Every lamp is wrapped in paper honeycomb, sealed with a NORE sticker and boxed in the studio.

It lets us make shapes that injection moulding can’t, with virtually no material waste, and print only what’s been ordered.

Yes, within 30 days of delivery. The lamp must be unused, in its original condition, with everything it came with, and packed in its original or equally protective packaging. Email hello@nore.design with your order number before sending anything back; returns sent without approval may not be accepted. Once your return is approved, we send a free return label, and there’s no restocking fee.

We refund your original payment method within 7 business days of your return arriving. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.

Email hello@nore.design within 14 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the lamp, the box, the packaging and the shipping label. Please keep the packaging until it’s sorted. We’ll send a free replacement, or give you a full refund if you prefer. You won’t need to send the damaged lamp back.

Yes. Every NORE lamp comes with a 1-year limited warranty from the delivery date, covering the printed shade and base against defects such as layers separating or cracking. If you notice a defect, email hello@nore.design with your order number and a photo or short video, and we’ll send a replacement part or a whole new lamp, whichever we decide fixes it best. If we can’t replace it, we’ll refund the price you paid. Full terms are on our Shipping & Returns page.

Damage from misuse, incorrect or non-LED bulbs, excessive heat or long direct sunlight, modifications, improper cleaning, or unsafe use, as well as normal wear.
