NORE is a Seattle-based lighting brand that licenses sculptural table lamp designs from independent studios worldwide and produces them locally using FDM 3D printing and bio-based materials. Every lamp is made to order - no factory overstock, no mass production.

Both. Every NORE lamp is fully wired with a standard plug and ships with an E26 LED bulb. They are designed to be used daily - the sculptural form and the quality of light are equally considered.

NORE lamps are made from bio-based PLA derived from corn starch and sugar cane, and PETG. Both are chosen for their light diffusion properties, structural integrity, and lower environmental impact. PLA is compostable under industrial composting conditions.

FDM 3D printing allows complex geometries impossible with injection molding, produces virtually zero material waste, and enables made-to-order production with no unsold inventory. It also allows independent designers to create forms that would be cost-prohibitive to manufacture traditionally.

Yes. FDM printing produces visible layer lines and subtle surface texture variations - these are not defects, they are inherent to the process and intentional. No two NORE lamps are identical. This is part of what makes each piece a small-batch object.

Yes. Every lamp is printed after your order is placed. We carry no pre-made inventory. This means zero waste - every lamp that exists was wanted by someone.

Orders typically ship within 1-3 business days from our Seattle studio, excluding weekends and holidays. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your lamp ships.

An E26 LED bulb is included with every lamp. We recommend bulbs rated 2700K-3000K for the warmest glow, with a maximum of 10W. Do not use incandescent or halogen bulbs because they generate too much heat for PLA.

NORE lamps are LED-only and generate minimal heat. PLA is safe for standard indoor ambient temperatures. Avoid placing the lamp near heat sources or in direct prolonged sunlight - extended UV or heat exposure can affect PLA over time.

Wipe with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use solvents, alcohol, abrasive cleaners, or submerge the lamp in water.

We offer a 7-day return or exchange window on unused items. The item must be unused, in original condition, and returned in its original or equivalent protective packaging. Buyer pays return shipping. A 15% return handling/restocking fee applies to approved refunds and is waived for approved exchanges or store credit.

If your lamp arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact hello@nore.design within 3 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging. We will arrange an appropriate remedy at no charge for an approved claim.
